Your Professionalism Score: 0 / 14

Custom Branding 4 questions

How to check: Look at your logo. Was it created by a designer specifically for your brand, or did you type your business name into a Canva/Wix template and save it?
Note: Don't have a custom logo yet? No problem. We work with a professional graphic designer who can create a custom logo for you, or we can recommend other trusted designers. The key is avoiding template fonts that look generic and ensuring it works across all your marketing materials.
How to check: Hold your business card (or open your Instagram profile) next to your website. Do the colors feel like they belong to the same brand, or do they look unrelated?
How to check: Open your website in a browser tab. Do you see a custom icon (your logo or a brand symbol), or just a generic globe, letter, or blank square?
How to check: Look at your contact page or footer. Does the email address use your own domain name, or is it a free email service like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail?

Visual Quality 3 questions

How to check: Scroll through your homepage. Do the gaps between sections feel uniform, or do some sections feel squeezed together while others have too much empty space?
How to check: Look at all the images on your homepage and key pages. Do they feel like they belong together, or is it a jarring mix of crisp photos, blurry ones, and different aspect ratios?
Note: If your images feel mismatched, we can help optimize and display them consistently. Don't have quality photos yet? We can recommend trusted photographers or help you select high-quality stock alternatives that still feel authentic.
How to check: Look at any page on your site. Can you instantly tell which text is a heading and which is body copy, or do they blur together at similar sizes?

Trust Signals 4 questions

How to check: Read your testimonials. Do they include the client's real first and last name, and do they mention specific results or experiences (e.g., "Jane Smith said our redesign increased her bookings by 40%")?
Note: Just starting out and don't have testimonials yet? That's completely normal. We can design a testimonial section that's ready to populate as you collect client feedback, or help you showcase other trust signals like client logos or case studies.
How to check: Look for a photo of yourself or your team. Is it a clear, well-lit professional headshot or team photo, or a casual snapshot that wouldn't look out of place on personal social media?
Note: Don't have professional photos yet? No problem. We can recommend trusted photographers in your area, or help you select high-quality stock images that still feel authentic. Many of our clients add professional photos after launch.
How to check: Look for a section showing logos of clients you've worked with, badges of certifications you hold, awards you've won, or professional organizations you belong to. If you have none of these, answer "No."
Note: If you don't have certifications, awards, or client logos yet, that's okay. We can design your site to showcase these elements as you earn them over time. Starting without them doesn't hold you back.
How to check: Look for a dedicated section on your site that showcases your past projects, client work, or case studies with before/after results. If you don't have this section, answer "No."
Note: New to business and don't have a portfolio yet? We can help you structure a portfolio section that grows with you. Many clients start with a few sample projects or case studies, then add more as they complete work.

Content Polish 2 questions

How to check: Read through the text on your homepage, about page, and services page. Are there any typos, grammatical mistakes, or awkward phrasing that a professional editor would catch?
Note: We can recommend professional copywriters or proofreaders if you'd like polished copy. Or if you prefer to write it yourself, we'll make sure it's implemented cleanly on your site.
How to check: Read your homepage copy. Count how many times it says "you/your" versus "we/I/me/my." If "you" appears more often, answer "Yes."
Note: Rewriting copy to focus on the customer ("you") rather than yourself ("we") can significantly improve conversions. We can recommend copywriters who specialize in this, or guide you through revising it yourself.

Design Sophistication 1 question

How to check: Count the distinct colors used across your entire website (backgrounds, text, buttons, accents). If you see more than 4 clearly different colors, answer "No."
